Ochanomizu Hotel Juraku, Tokyo

I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet at Ochanomizu Hotel Juraku. Even though it was only open in the morning, the selection was quite diverse with many tasty options. The breakfast was reasonably priced, making it a perfect way to start my day. I did struggle a bit with the lack of English signage, but it made for a fun challenge using my Google Translate app!

The room I stayed in was small, but perfectly functional. I appreciated the very nice windows that sealed out street noise, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The mattress was firmer than I'm used to, but I found it comfortable. Having a small refrigerator was a nice touch for storing snacks I picked up around the city.

The bathroom in my room was compact, yet it featured a lovely bathtub that I enjoyed using after a long day of exploring Tokyo. The water pressure was excellent, which made for a refreshing shower every morning. Despite its size, it was clean and had everything I needed.

During my week-long business trip, I found the hotel's facilities to be very accommodating. The wifi worked well for video calls and doing online work, which was essential for my meetings. The peaceful environment made it easy to focus and get my tasks done without distractions.
